What is experience , what is its value .So you do a job for many years , see recurrent issue,patterns of resolution , undertake many many tasks , understand how to things . I recently met someone who said his management team had more than 200 years of experience.But what is experience , is 200 years better than 10 . I recently I heard someone say experience is like a compost heap .It digests ,creates the conditions for regrowth , it is a living environment and pulls in multiple different components . So what does the compost heap do ? Better spreadsheets ? New models or takes stronger control  . Perhaps the compost heap just holds the system of players and issues in such a way the components move to resolution or becoming right . Leaders need to hold , bear witness and adjust . A safe pair of hands ……….
